This is an Emily Carr University Health Lab X UBC Purdy Pavilion co-design project. We visited the elders living in the UBC Purdy Pavilion, listened to their life stories through some activities and games we designed. During this project, we as a three-people design group was talking to Bill, Danny and Brock about their travel experience, their passions, families and friends. Even though they all have been through some tough time, they never give up their love to life, which inspired me a lot.

After listening to all the stories, we organized their stories based on four different chapters, record different “episode” in their lives. We also set the visual style based on Bill’s drawing. Then, we designed the layout and cover, we riso-printed it out and did the binding and package as well. 听完所有的故事后，我们根据四个不同的章节将他们的故事串联起来，记录他们生活中不同的小故事。我们还根据Bill的手绘制定了我们整本书的视觉风格。然后，我们还设计了版面和封面，用riso打印机印刷并手工装订以及包装.
